JOGA Clubs: If you are interested in hosting either a State Meet or the still to be named JOGA Fundraising competition, you must submit a formal bid request to Jason Bauer - President. Once you submit your formal bid request, an on-site evaluation will be scheduled prior to your bid being accepted. To contact Jason, email jason@aganj.com. All bids must be submitted NO LATER than August 1, 2010 to be considered.

When hosting a JOGA Sanctioned meet, you may NOT combine with either USAG or USAIGC sanctioned competitions. You can only run JOGA with a JOGA Sanction. You can run a JOGA session on the same day or weekend as the other leagues, but it can not run simultaneously sharing judges or equipment. This act will VOID the insurance provided by the JOGA league.
State Qualifying Score Verification: JOGA 6 = 23.00, JOGA 5 = 26.00, JOGA 4 = 29.00, JOGA 3 = 31.00, JOGA 2 = 33.00, and JOGA 1 = 35.00
JOGA 1 State Qualifying Score for Individual Event Specialist = 8.75
JOGA 2 State Qualifying Score for Individual Event Specialist = 8.25
Allowable competition formats: Capital Cup or Warm-up & Compete
Rule Clarification
a.Coach Standing on the Floor Rule Clarification
i. A coach will be permitted to step onto the Floor Exercise to remove any matting without penalty at ALL JOGA Levels.
ii. A coach will be permitted to stand on the Floor Exercise for the safety of the gymnast WITHOUT VOIDING the routine, following these guidelines:
1.JOGA 5 & 6: There will be NO DEDUCTION for “spotting” or “standing in” for 1 tumbling pass. If a coach “spots” or “stands in” for more than 1 tumbling pass, then the routine would be VOID.
2.JOGA 3 & 4: There will be a 1 point Deduction for “spotting” or “standing in” for 1 tumbling pass…beyond 1 tumbling pass the routine would be VOID.
3.JOGA 1 & 2: There will be a 2 point Deduction for “spotting” or “standing in” for 1 tumbling pass…beyond 1 tumbling pass the routine would be VOID.
iii. At any level, in addition to any deductions for a coach “spotting” or “standing in”, if the coach touches or spots the gymnast there will be a 5 tenth deduction for the skill, plus the value of the skill will be deducted as well.
